Blockworks
CLOSED ALPHA · v0.1.0-beta.1

More Minecraft, in Minecraft's own voice.

Eight standalone mods on one shared Core. Oceans that fight back, cauldrons that actually cook, ravens that learn your tricks, deserts that bite. Cozy, with teeth.

Standalone by design

Every module works alone. No mod requires another. Install one, or three, or all eight.

One shared Core

A single lightweight Core library carries the plumbing, so the content mods stay lean.

Vanilla-flavored

No tech trees, no mana bars. Everything extends what Minecraft already loves doing.

The modules

All in closed alpha. Screenshots are coming as the batch QA pass wraps up.

  • Core Library

    FOUNDATION

The shared base every module stands on. Install once, stack anything on top.

  • Sails & Salvages

    SEAFARING

Banner sails, bigger boats, pirate raids, boardable loot ships. Then a Barnacle drags you into the abyss.

  • Stews & Scraps

    KITCHEN

Cauldron cooking with named soups and saved recipes. Illager Chefs fight with ladles. Potion experiments can end in pink goo.

  • COMBAT

Quivers with a radial wheel and custom arrows from the fletching table. Target dummies take the hits and show the damage numbers.

  • LIGHT & TRICKS

Glow torches, invisible item frames, echo trims. And the Glare, a cave companion that wilts if you ignore it.

  • TRANSPORT

Copper rails with speed presets, minecart trains linked by real chains, blast-furnace locomotives, horseshoes. Also alarm clocks, which Wardens will come and break.

  • BIOMES

Savanna, desert, and badlands expansions. Ride an ostrich. Tame a meerkat. Get caught in a sandstorm.

  • COMPANIONS

Tame a raven and it fetches drops, presses buttons, rings bells. Reward a trick with sweet berries and it remembers.

  • ENCOUNTERS

Dungeons-style legends loose in survival. The Great Hunger eats enchanted gear and spits it out cleaner. The Wildfire hides behind spinning shields. The Endersent watches. Until you move.

The alpha is a closed list.

A small group of playtesters runs the builds while the QA pass finishes. The way in is the DAEMON Discord. Say you want Blockworks. Bring your ideas while you're at it; that's where suggestions and feature requests live.
